Interns Happily Invade the Print Department

,
The Print Department is greatly benefiting from the help of college interns this winter and spring. In early January between semesters, Haverford College sophomore Jon William Sweitzer-Lamme volunteered his time in the department processing digital files, posting images on Flickr, and carrying out general curatorial tasks. He was also asked to write a blog entry about his experiences. The Print Department is now fortunate to host Lydia Bello, a Bryn Mawr College senior, who will spend about eight hours a week throughout her spring semester assisting us. Lydia will process digital files as we finish up our NEH-funded ephemera grant; inventory and re-house a newly acquired collection of trade cards; and assist with day to day departmental duties. Continue to check the link above, as she will periodically write about her experiences as an intern on the library’s blog. We are glad to have fresh, enthusiastic new faces in the department!
