William Birch Walking Tour

Join us as we bring Birch’s Views to life! Enjoy a two-mile, two-hour tour of Birch’s Views in Philadelphia’s Historic District! On this tour, you will encounter Congress Hall, the State House (now Independence Hall), the back of the State House, and the nearby site of the Library Company’s original building. We will walk through the Independence National Historic Park area and north to Market Street through Franklin’s Court. We will conclude at the corner of Third and Walnut Streets, the site of the Bank of the United States. The Walking Tour will begin at 10:00 am. This tour will begin at the exit of the Liberty Bell Pavilion at the northeast corner of Chestnut and Sixth Streets and conclude at the corner of Third and Walnut Streets, the site of the Bank of the United States.
This tour is free for Library Company Members or Pay-What-You-Wish with a suggested donation of $10 and a minimum of $1.
