PhillyHistory is an award-winning online archival project of historic photographs and maps directed by the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Records. It contains over 2 million photo records of Philadelphia from the late 19th century through the mid-20th century. The photo collection can be searched by location, keyword, or topic, and an interactive map allows users to navigate the sources visually by location.
