(She/her)

Amy Carson first came to the Library Company as a Delmas Foundation Intern in 2024, returning in 2025 for various collections projects before becoming a full time staff member. She holds a bachelor’s degree in audio engineering from Drexel University and a master’s in library science from Pennsylvania Western University Clarion, and has held previous positions at Penn Libraries’ Holman Biotech Commons and Drexel University’s Audio Archives. In her current role, Amy both assists readers in the Scheide Reading Room and processes newly acquired collection material. While excited to help researchers with reference inquiries on any topic, Amy has particular knowledge of LCP’s holdings in relation to medicine, music, and early American periodicals.
