Arielle Rambo came to the Library Company in 2011 after having worked in academic and art libraries since 2006. She holds a B.A. in Fine Arts and Literature from Bennington College and an M.S. in Library and Information Science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Her essay with co-author Todd Pattison, Benjamin Bradley and the “Profitable Stroke”: Binding Six Months in a Convent and the Need for Copy-Specific Cataloging of Nineteenth-Century Publishers’ Bindings (in Suave Mechanicals Volume 3, Legacy Press, 2016), promotes Library Company collections and cataloging standards. Along with Concetta Barbera, Arielle launched the Digital Outreach Initiative in 2015 to enhance the Library Company’s collections-based social media presence. This initiative ensures the Library Company’s involvement in local, national, and international social media themes and challenges with daily posts and engagement with peer institutions.
