Please join us on the evening of September 9th for a roundtable discussion concerning the Library Company’s current exhibition, Philadelphia’s Radical Revolution.
Please join us on September 9th for an evening focused on our current exhibition and a forthcoming publication. Historians Emma Hart, Martha King, Aaron Sullivan, and Director Designate Jessica Choppin Roney will have a roundtable discussion of Philadelphia’s Radical Revolution, From the Stamp Act to the Federal Constitution. Much of the contents of the exhibition draws from the Du Simitière Collection, which the Library Company acquired in 1785. The program will also unveil a new book on Du Simitière and his remarkable collection. During the reception, exhibition curator Jim Green will be available in the gallery to guide visitors.
