In a life spanning from 1706 to 1790, Benjamin Franklin’s collected papers and correspondence present a panoramic view of the eighteenth century. This collection includes approximately 30,000 extant papers, which can be accessed in three modes: by volume and page number in the Yale edition (46 volumes, plus autobiography), by the name of the person with whom Franklin was corresponding, and by keywords and phrases.
