Join us for a conversation with historian Nicole Eustace about her book Covered with Night: A Story of Murder and Indigenous Justice in Early America (Liveright, 2021), which was awarded the 2022 Pulitzer Prize in History. Eustace is an Organization of American Historians (OAH) Distinguished Lecturer, and was a 2007-2008  Society for Historians of the Early American Republic Fellow at the Library Company and the Historical Society of Pennsylvania. She is Professor of History at New York University, where she teaches in the U.S. and Atlantic history programs and serves as the director of the NYU Atlantic History Workshop. Help us celebrate Dr. John C. Van Horne’s legacy of education and scholarship by joining us at the free public lecture and book signing, pre-lecture reception, and private dinner immediately following the event.
